You don't have a Satispay account and received a payment request from your friends?

After activating your account, accept or reject the request from Contacts > search bar Send money and other options > Check payment requests.

Don't panic, we'll guide you step-by-step according to the gift you received 🤝️

Go to Contacts > click on the search bar “Send money and other options” > Gifts > Digital gifts - Received. Once opened, the money received will be credited to your Available Balance. Put it to good use 😏

🔔 The gift envelope has an expiration date! You must open it within 7 days of the indicated date, otherwise the money will be returned to the sender.

Enter the PIN code you received as a gift during purchase on Amazon or to reload your Amazon.it account.

Choose the method you prefer:

📲 Save the number

Go to Cobtacts > click on the search bar “Send money and other options” > Add a new phone number > Send or Request.

⬅️ Show your personal QR Code

Open the App > swipe left and show your personal QR Code. If they scan it, anyone can send you a payment without intermediate steps.

➡️ Scan the personal QR Code

Open the App > swipe right and scan the Personal QR Code of the person you need to send money to > enter the amount, a comment, and Send!

Exactly as you do with your “real” friends who already use Satispay 😜

Go to the Contacts section of the App > click the search bar “Send money and other options” > select the desired person (if your friend hasn't signed up for Satispay yet, you will see this indication on the payment summary and confirmation screen) > enter the amount and click Send or Request.

The recipient will receive an SMS with a link to download the App, register, and complete activation within 7 days. The SMS will also inform them that, in case of failure to register within this period, the amount will automatically return to your Available Balance.

💸 Send

You will see the money transfer in Profile-Transactions in the “In progress” status until their account is active and the operation is complete.

🔔 While waiting for your contact's Satispay account to be activated, you can cancel the initiated Payment by contacting Satispay directly.

💡 If the recipient does not activate in time, the money will automatically return to your Available Balance.

💸 Request

If you requested money, once your friends are active, they will be able to accept or reject your request.

In either case, it's the right time to invite your friends and share your promocode 🤩

Based on applicable European regulations, we are required to protect user funds and must keep them distinct from our assets. This is why your money is separated from the funds we use for our daily business operations and cannot be claimed by Satispay's creditors in case of insolvency.

Currently, the money received from your bank account is deposited:

• in segregated accounts opened with credit institutions in Italy and Luxembourg;
• in liquid, low-risk assets (specifically, a money market fund) with Goldman Sachs.
