How does in-store payment work with Satispay?

In-store payment is our flagship feature 🎠 You have three ways to pay for your purchases: Using the QR Code displayed at checkout swipe right > scan the QR code > enter the amount > tap Send . Using the Dynamic QR Code swipe right > scan the QR code on the POS or self-checkout > verify the amount > tap Send . Using the Stores List select the store from the list in the App > enter the amount > tap Send . Now it’s the merchant’s turn: within a few seconds, they will receive your payment and must accept it. As with any payment, the merchant will issue a fiscally valid receipt. 💡 You can check the payment status (in progress ✔️, accepted ✔️✔️, or cancelled ✖️) directly from the Profile section of the App. 🔔 Always wait for the merchant's confirmation before leaving!

You have three ways to pay for your purchases:

Want to find out if your favorite store or nearby pharmacies accept Satispay? Tap the search bar “Search stores or categories” and look for them by name or browse the categories!

In the App's Profile - Transactions section!

To view it, just tap the transaction and click on Receipt. Use the Search Transactions bar to speed up your search 🔎

💡 If you are unable to view your receipts correctly, update the App to the latest available version.

Check if the payment has been accepted by the store: go to Profile - Transactions and verify the status of your payment:

In progress a single checkmark ✔️ indicates that the payment has not yet been accepted, and you still have time to cancel it. Tap the payment and then Cancel.

Cancelled the gray ✖️ symbol indicates that the payment has been cancelled.

Accepted the two checkmarks ✔️✔️ indicate that the payment was successful.

💡If the payment has been accepted, request the refund directly from the merchant by showing them the receipt you can find in the App.

😁 If your Savings cover the payment amount: you will be able to complete the payment, and your Available Balance will become negative.

To bring your Available Balance back to a positive figure, you have two options:

withdraw funds from your Savings
make a top-up via bank transfer

😭 If your Savings do not cover the payment cost: you will be able to complete the payment, and your Available Balance will become negative. We will immediately process a free instant top-up* to bring your Available Balance back to €0.
