Great products don't happen by chance: they are the result of the work of passionate people with a clear vision, capable of collaborating and innovating. Meet Gilberto Galeazzi, one of Satispay's Product Managers, who contributes concretely to Satispay's evolution every day. He is on the front line of ensuring the product remains agile, user-centric, and always one step ahead. Want to find out what it's really like to work as a Product Manager at Satispay? We'll tell you!
Collaboration and impact. Our role is at the center of strategic decisions: we shape the product to meet user needs and achieve company goals. But what makes this job truly special is the way we do it. Ideas can come from any team — technology, marketing, customer support — and we are ready to welcome them to transform them into concrete improvements.
We also have the freedom to experiment. We test new features, learn quickly, and iterate continuously thanks to real-time feedback. We work guided by data, with the goal of achieving tangible and measurable results. The best part? Seeing the real impact of our work on users. It's a dynamic and stimulating environment, where making your mark is truly possible.
Speed and flexibility are in our DNA. We don't wait for things to happen: we test, learn, and adapt. Our tech team allows us to develop multiple features in parallel, accelerating innovation without compromising quality.
We always put the user experience at the center, focusing on small improvements that generate great value. Our decisions are guided by data and our company pillars, but not only that: intuition also plays an important role. It's needed to imagine new solutions, anticipate needs, and try courageous ideas when necessary.
We don't aim for revolutions, but for continuous evolutions. Every step is designed to bring a real, measurable benefit in line with our objectives (OKRs), both at the team and company level.
Among the most significant projects I've contributed to is the recent update of the real-time selfie feature. A clear example of how security and user experience can go hand in hand.
Thanks to machine learning, identity verification is now faster and smoother: what used to take 30 seconds is now completed in a few moments. Faster, simpler, more secure. This update not only improved the user experience but also strengthened security and regulatory compliance. A real advantage for everyone.
Setting priorities is fundamental. To do this, we use the RICE framework, which helps us evaluate each feature based on:
* Reach: how many users will benefit
* Impact: how useful it will be for users and the business
* Confidence: how confident we are in our estimates
* Effort: how many resources the development requires
The formula is:
(Reach × Impact × Confidence) / Effort
The higher the score, the higher the priority. This method allows us to focus on what truly matters, ensuring that every idea — regardless of who proposed it — has a chance to be realized.
However, we maintain a certain flexibility: we review priorities at least twice a year to seize new opportunities without losing sight of the strategic direction. It's a balance between structure and adaptability, to stay focused but ready for change.
Gilberto's passion for collaboration and innovation is what makes him a fundamental part of our team. If you also love solving problems, working in synergy with different teams, and having a concrete impact, you might be the right person for us.
