Our mobile team is "always eager to explore." That’s how our Senior iOS Developer, Matteo Spreafico, describes our culture.
He found an "inspiring environment" where his team "collaborate closely" with product and design from day one: something he says isn't "always possible in larger tech companies". We sat down with Matteo to chat about this "very open process," what it’s like to build for millions, and why this is a great place to grow.
What first attracted you to Satispay, and what challenge makes you stay?
I was drawn to Satispay by its mission to revolutionize everyday payments and its strong technical culture. After years in product companies, I wanted a real step up in challenge, and I found it here.
It's a competitive, inspiring environment where I get to collaborate with teammates of all experience levels, sharing what I know while learning from their continuous feedback and inspiration. We're always eager to explore new mobile technologies.
Can you share an iOS project that had a big impact?
The Loyalty Program is the main feature I've worked on, and it significantly impacted user engagement by introducing a gamified experience.
It’s exciting and rewarding to build something used daily by millions. New features are coming soon: I’ve been lucky to work on them with the mobile team, but I can’t reveal more yet!
How much voice do iOS engineers have in what gets built?
We collaborate closely with product and design from the start, sharing feedback, proposing ideas, and refining solutions together.
It’s a very open process where everyone contributes to balancing user needs, time to market, and impact.
Why should a great iOS dev join us right now?
For me, our team stands out for two big reasons:
- 1
1
Grow through challenges
Satispay is the ideal place to take your career to the next level. As someone who’s been working on iPhone and iPad apps for over 10 years, I can tell you that regardless of seniority, there are always new challenges here to help you grow.

2
Latest technologies
I get to use my deep understanding of the iOS app lifecycle to anticipate challenges, but I'm also constantly learning. Our mobile team constantly explores how to evolve the product using the latest technologies: something that isn't always possible in larger tech companies.
Ready to write a new chapter? We can't wait to get you in the team!
