Satispay Welfare: the model that returns value to the entire value chain

The fintech continues to grow in corporate welfare: more than €30 million reimbursed to merchants within one working day every month, with the employer growth rate increasing 20-fold in two years. Goal: €700 million in annualized volumes by the end of 2026.

Milan, 30 March 2026

Satispay, the super-app and proprietary payment network that simplifies money management, is consolidating its strength in corporate welfare. At the heart of its strategy is an innovative model designed to introduce greater balance and return value to the entire value chain: merchants, companies and employees, guaranteeing maximum convenience both when accepting and spending benefits.

The data confirms the positive impact on local businesses: for small merchants, these services not only increase store traffic, but also generate much higher-value spending. Indeed, the average receipt for transactions made with Satispay Meal Vouchers is 60% higher than the average for Satispay digital payments recorded at the same point of sale.

This approach drastically reduces operational friction and improves economic conditions across the ecosystem, turning benefits into tangible, everyday value.

With more than €30 million reimbursed every month to its network of participating merchants, SatisWelfare stands out for a process under which reimbursement for every Welfare product is processed on the same day it is collected and credited to the merchant's current account within one working day. This speed, combined with the guarantee of full reimbursement for vouchers used, aims to overcome certain market distortions. By eliminating long waiting times and the risks of failed collection associated with voucher readability or manual management, Satispay assures merchants immediate, reliable liquidity. It is a tangible commitment that puts businesses' interests first, ensuring much smoother financial management for them.

On costs, the fintech was ahead of the market, offering Meal Voucher commissions structurally below the 5% cap now set by law ever since its welfare debut. Satispay was founded with the aim of being competitive and sustainable for its partners, guaranteeing favourable terms well before these became a legal requirement.

This vision makes it possible to retain wealth and economic interests directly within local areas, turning corporate welfare into an engine of real growth for local communities and allowing merchants to reinvest in their businesses immediately.

The growth figures: toward €700 million by the end of 2026

2025 marked a sharp acceleration for SatisWelfare. Just two years after the service launched, the fintech reached milestones that on average take much longer to mature in the sector: in December, monthly volumes of welfare products issued exceeded €41 million, bringing the annualized value to €360 million. Based on this trend and the confidence of more than 40,000 companies, Satispay aims to reach €700 million in annualized volumes by the end of 2026 across all welfare products.

Success has been driven by the platform's adoption by major industrial and service-sector organizations. Notable partners choosing Satispay solutions include SMEs and major market-leading multinationals such as Iren, Armani and Sky, which identified in the service a unique combination of simplicity for employees and respect for the merchant network.

A vision based on value for the ecosystem

Alberto Dalmasso, CEO and co-founder of Satispay Group, commented: "We firmly believe in a model that puts merchants back at the center, because welfare creates value only when it is sustainable for everyone involved: companies, employees and shopkeepers. The results confirm that we are on the right track: seeing our services increase customers' spending power and traffic in neighbourhood stores is proof that technology can support the real economy. For us, returning value to local areas means eliminating bureaucratic friction and excessive costs, offering fair solutions that we had adopted well before they became a legal requirement. Our mission remains what it has always been: to simplify people's relationship with money and put its full value back into the hands of people and businesses."

Welfare as a bridge to financial education

Beyond reimbursement efficiency, Satispay sees welfare as a strategic lever for financial education. By turning benefits into an intuitive digital tool, the company aims to make employees informed managers of their own opportunities, making it easier for them to approach complex subjects such as supplementary pensions and savings. Satispay thus continues on its journey to "Empower People Through Finance", making financial services simple and accessible to everyone.

Satispay

Founded in 2015, Satispay is the super-app and proprietary payment network that makes money and financial-service management simple and accessible. With a constantly growing community of 6 million people, the platform allows users to pay by smartphone (at in-store and online merchants), exchange money free of charge and access numerous value-added services: the Cashback Points loyalty program, Buy Now Pay Later to split everyday expenses into 3 interest-free instalments, mobile top-ups, payment of slips, car and motorcycle road tax, PagoPA, gift cards, Donations and savings. After consolidating its B2C experience, Satispay extended its model to the B2B world. In September 2023, it entered corporate welfare with the innovative Satispay Meal Vouchers and Fringe Benefits, followed by the Satispay FlexBen platform, which simplifies the management of reimbursements and pension funds. In just over two years, Satispay has established itself as one of the sector's leading operators, with more than 40,000 client companies already, offering their employees next-generation welfare tools that are simple and quick to use, as well as one of Italy's broadest acceptance networks (more than 400,000 participating in-store and online merchants). And finally, Satispay expanded its offering with the Investments section and Invested Money Box, making investing accessible even to those approaching capital markets for the first time.
